The Spa at the Captain Merry is unlike any other in the Tri-State area. We are inspired by changing the value of the SalonSpa industry in Dubuque through raising the level of development for our stylists and of service to our guests. We are a full-service hair salon in addition to nail and massage services. Pedicures are done on the decadent Murano pedi chairs that gently massage you while your feet are pampered. The Salon also uses only natural and incandescent lighting so you can be assured that your hair color will be exactly what you want.

Your spa adventure begins by being nestled in the softest Kashwere robes, having a beverage, and enjoying a massage chair in our Relaxation Room with its soft babbling fountain and cozy gas fireplace. SalonSpa Deposit and Cancellation Policies

For Groups of 5 or more….

Deposit:  Your credit card will be charged 25% of the service total at the time of scheduling to hold the reservation.

Cancellation:  If your services are cancelled or reduced 72 hours (3 days) in advance, we will send you a gift certificate for half of the deposit amount.  If your services are cancelled with in the 72 hours, the entire deposit is forfeited.

For a “no show” – i.e. no notice given, 100% of the service total is forfeited and the remaining 75% due will be charged at that time.  (Exception-proof of family emergency or weather issues preventing arrival and/or notification will result in a gift certificate good for the entire original service total.)

Clients booking $250.00 or more….

Deposit:  Your credit card will be charged 50% of the service total at the time of scheduling.

Cancellation:  If your services are cancelled or reduced 48 hours (2 days) in advance, we will send you a gift certificate for half of the deposit amount.  If your services are cancelled with in the 48 hours, the entire deposit is forfeited.

For a “no show” – i.e. no notice given, 100% of the service total is forfeited and the remaining 50% due will be charged at that time.  (Exception-proof of family emergency or weather issues preventing arrival and/or notification will result in a gift certificate good for the entire original service total.)
